Caitlin’s Journey

Caitlin is from Hornsea and studied at Hornsea School and Language College . Prior to her training at London School of Musical Theatre Caitlin from gained a first class degree in Music Theatre at The University of Central Lancashire. 

After studying she decided to complete a masters degree in London at The London School of Musical Theatre, this is when Caitlin joined the Godber Theatre Foundation. 

Alongside her studies Caitlin was an inaugural member of The Godber Theatre Foundation, attending workshops, 1-1s and appearing in our digital showcase for graduating members in 2021. The Godber Theatre Foundation covered the payment of Caitlin's professional Spotlight Profile as well as awarding her with a brand new Apple iPad to help her as entering the professional industry, this is used to edit scripts, read plays and to film and edit self-tape material. 



Following our Digital Showcase Caitlin was employed by Smashing Mirrors Theatre to work on a brand new short film project about Dementia which has gone on to be shown in schools across East Yorkshire. 


After graduating in December 2020. Caitlin had the opportunity to audition for the John Godber Company’s production of ‘Moby Dick’ their first piece of theatre since the pandemic.

Caitlin landed a role in the production which was staged in Hull at the outdoor amphi-theatre at Stage @ the Dock in 2021. Caitlin played a vital role in the production joining a company of 7 other actors. This was Caitlin's first professional acting role.


After finishing Moby Dick Caitlin signed with Acting agents Artlen House Associates. 


In December 2021 Caitlin returned to work with the John Godber Company on their production of ‘A Christmas Carol’ which was a new immersive production staged at Hull Minster. 


Caitlin has most recently appeared on Real Housewives of Cheshire Christmas reunion which was aired on ITVBe in December 2021. 

The Godber Theatre foundation and John Godber Company continues to support Caitlin in her career and can’t wait to see what’s next!
